Call for Abstracts You are invited to present your work during the Medichem 2008 congress in Amsterdam. There will be oral and poster presentations. Contributions related to the main theme of the Congress "Innovation in Occupational Health" will be preferred for oral presentation. GUIDELINES for POSTERS or ORAL PRESENTATIONS A. ABSTRACTS B. POSTERS C. PRESENTATIONS The conference language will be English and all abstracts and presentations should be in English. A. Abstracts Extended abstracts, with a maximum of two pages A4, for oral as well as poster presentations should be submitted electronically and camera-ready in MS word to Routine before May 1st 2008. A description of the prescribed format can be found here. Please, indicate in your submission whether you prefer an oral or a poster presentation. You will be notified about the acceptance of your submission date. B. Posters The maximum size of the poster is A0 format (landscape, approximately 85 * 120 cm2). Poster formats are free but should include a title banner to go across the top of your presentation. This title banner should at least have a width of 100 cm and should state: - The title of the presentation - The name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s). When designing your poster, please, provide clear and concise data and LARGE PRINT that is legible from a distance of at least 1.5 meters. Mounting materials will be provided by the organisation. C. Presentations For presentations a laptop and beamer will be available - there will be no overhead projector or slide projector. PowerPoint files will be collected in advance to give us the opportunity to install your presentation on the laptop and check its performance. |
